Collaborate on your campaign
What a campaign involves
Rehearsal Mark plans and runs Grammy “For Your Consideration” campaigns for contemporary classical recordings, on behalf of composers, performers, ensembles, and labels. A campaign typically covers:
- Category strategy and entry review — which categories genuinely fit, entered correctly and on time.
- A campaign page on this site, like the ones under current campaigns.
- FYC email written and sent within the Recording Academy’s solicitation guidelines.
- Coordination among artist, label, and anyone else working the release, so everyone is at the same bar.
The Academy limits FYC promotion to members and their designated publicists, and every campaign here names the relationship on its page. That’s a feature, not a formality.
Timing
Entries happen early in the awards cycle, and the eligibility window is tied to your release date. The best time to start the conversation is before the recording comes out; the second-best time is now.
Start the conversation
Email a few basics — no deck, no formal pitch:
- The recording: title, composer, performers.
- Label and release date (or planned date).
- A link to hear it, even a private one.
You’ll get a straight answer about whether it’s a fit, either way.
Or write directly: michael@rehearsalmark.com
Campaign updates
Not ready for a campaign, but want to follow the work? Occasional email about active campaigns — new recordings, category listings, and listening links. The list is used for nothing else, and unsubscribing is one click, always.
